Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University is a recognized school that started in 2001 as the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Institute. The Latin Catholic Apostolic Administration of the Caucasus made it. In the beginning, it had only one part focused on Christian studies. It held meetings and published books about philosophy, religion, and other subjects.
In 2009, it became a full university with more programs. They added faculties for Law, Business and Technology, Humanities, and Social Sciences. They also started offering more advanced courses like Law, Theology, Public Administration, Business Management, and Human Resources. Now, the university is focused on giving good education in these different areas.
